Product Information
3-(1-Methyl-1H-indole-3-carbonyl)hexanedioic acid (MTIC) is a neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist that is used to treat postoperative nausea and vomiting. MTIC has been shown to have long-term efficacy in the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting, as well as being effective against bowel disease. This drug has been shown to be safe in rats, with no observable side effects in the dosage range of 1-100 mg/kg.
