Product Information
4-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-1,2-dihydrophthalazin-1-one (4HPDHP) is an organic compound that belongs to the group of phthalazinones. It is a colorless solid with a melting point of -7°C and a viscosity of 7.3 cP at 20°C. 4HPDHP has been used in the production of polymers for optical waveguides, thermally stable proton exchange membranes, and copolymers for the manufacture of flame retardants. The allyl group in 4HPDHP can be polymerized with biphenyl to form a copolymer; this copolymerization process was first reported in 1977 by J.E. Musher et al.
