Product Information
1-(3-Benzyloxypyridin-2-yl)-3-(3-chlorophenyl)urea is a potent compound that has been shown to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in mononuclear cells, impairing their function. It also inhibits the activity of p38 mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK), which is involved in HIV infection. 1-(3-Benzyloxypyridin-2-yl)-3-(3-chlorophenyl)urea has been shown to interact with HIV, inhibiting its infectivity and replication. The efficacy of this drug has also been demonstrated in a screening assay using primary cells.
