Product Information
Piperidin-4-ylmethyl-pyridin-2-yl-amine is a novel drug that inhibits the dimer interface of the enzyme, leading to destabilization and inactivation. Piperidin-4-ylmethyl-pyridin-2-yl-amine has shown to be effective at inhibiting cardiac troponin C, which is an important factor in diagnosing heart problems. This drug also has been shown to have chaperone activity by stabilizing other proteins and preventing their aggregation. Piperidin-4-ylmethylpyridin-2ylamine has been found to be effective in inhibiting the development of cancer in laboratory mice. It is thought that this drug may inhibit tumor growth by interfering with the synthesis of guanosine nucleotides, which are necessary for DNA replication and repair.
