Product Information

Name:
3-[(4-Benzylpiperazin-1-yl)sulfonyl]benzoic acid
Description:

3-[(4-Benzylpiperazin-1-yl)sulfonyl]benzoic acid is a potent and selective inhibitor of the human T cell receptor alpha/beta heterodimer. This inhibitor binds to the peptide binding site of the T cell receptor beta chain, thereby blocking the interaction between the T cell receptor beta chain and its ligand. 3-[(4-Benzylpiperazin-1-yl)sulfonyl]benzoic acid is a high purity research tool that can be used in Cell Biology, Peptides, Pharmacology, Ligand, Activator or Ion channels research. It has been shown to inhibit ion channel activity in some types of cells but not others. The IC50 value for inhibition of ion channel activity is approximately 0.5 μM.
