Product Information
Ethyl [3-cyclopropyl-5-(difluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]acetate is a phenoxy compound that has been shown to have the ability to modulate insulin resistance and fatty acid metabolism. It is also able to improve dyslipidemia by inhibiting hepatic secretion of apolipoprotein B, which leads to decreased levels of plasma triglycerides. This drug is an haloalkyl, which may be responsible for its receptor activity. The structural formula for this drug has not been identified due to the use of acetonitrile as a solvent in the synthesis. Ethyl [3-cyclopropyl-5-(difluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]acetate has been found to be effective in treating cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease.
