PI3K'-IN-2 is a monoclonal antibody that targets PI3K, which is a protein that plays an important role in cancer cell growth. The drug can be used in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy to treat ovarian cancer. PI3K'-IN-2 has been shown to be effective in treating mouse tumors and inhibiting the growth of lymphocytic leukemia cells. Although this drug was well tolerated by animals, it did cause some toxicities, such as weight loss and diarrhea. In addition, PI3K'-IN-2 showed synergistic effects when used in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy in mice bearing human ovarian cancer xenografts resistant to platinum treatment alone.
