Description:
2-Ethyl-4-nitrobenzo[d]oxazole is an antifungal agent with potent antifungal activity. It has been shown to have a broad spectrum of activity against fungi and is used to treat fungal infections. 2-Ethyl-4-nitrobenzo[d]oxazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol in the cell membrane, which is required for fungal cell membrane integrity. As a result, it causes leakage of cellular contents and death of the fungus.
