1-(5-Chloropyridin-2-yl)-1,4-diazepane is a ligand with affinity for the oxime receptor. It has been shown to have anticancer activity against cancer cell lines in vitro and in vivo. The compound also binds to the piperazine receptor and inhibits tumor growth in animal models of cancer. 1-(5-Chloropyridin-2-yl)-1,4-diazepane has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of human pancreatic cancer cells (Panc-1) in cell culture.
