Product Information
- 3,5-Diphenyl-[1,2,4]triazol-4-ylamine
- 4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine, 3,5-diphenyl-
3,5-Diphenyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine is a reactive molecule that can be used in the construction of benzodiazepine receptor ligands. The molecular modeling studies suggest that this molecule has a pharmacophore with an unsymmetrical triazole and a chloride. 3,5-Diphenyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine also binds to amines and forms a chloroformate upon reaction with benzonitrile. The reaction mechanism is proposed to be the nucleophilic attack of the chloride on the electrophilic carbon atom of the benzonitrile, leading to a triazole intermediate. The functional theory predicts that 3,5-diphenyl-4H-1,2,4 -triazol 4 amine will have low reactivity due to its electron donating properties.
