Product Information
Benzyldimethylphenylammonium Chloride is a non-polymeric, hydrogen-bonding agent. It is able to form hydrogen bonds with the hydroxybenzoic acid moieties of leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). This chemical also has an affinity for chloride ions. Benzyldimethylphenylammonium Chloride is used as a control agent in polymer films, which are solid films that contain a hydroxyl group and a divalent hydrocarbon such as sodium carbonate or mivacurium chloride. These films are used in the production of nanoparticulate compositions, which are drug delivery systems that can provide localized delivery of drugs to specific areas of the body.
Benzyldimethylphenylammonium Chloride may be used in conjunction with edrophonium chloride or chlorine atom as an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy probe for studying the properties of ion channels on cell membranes.
