Product Information
- 4-Chlorophenylazide
- Benzene, 1-azido-4-chloro-
- 1-Azido-4-chlorobenzene
1-Azido-4-chlorobenzene (1ACB) is a carbinol with an azide group that has been used in the discovery of lead. It also has been shown to be an efficient method for the synthesis of diazo compounds and terminal alkynes. 1ACB is soluble in organic solvents, such as chloroform and acetone, and reacts with chloride ions to form a nucleophilic chloride, which can be used to synthesize carbinols. 1ACB reacts with mouse liver microsomes to form functional groups, such as hydroxyl and carbonyl.
