3,5,7-Trihydroxy-8-methoxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one is a flavonol that is found in the heartwood of Prunus mahaleb. It is a molecule that has been studied for its anti-inflammatory properties. 3,5,7-Trihydroxy-8-methoxy-2-(4 methoxyphenyl)-4H chromen 4 one can be synthesized by demethylation of limocitrin and then bonding with oxidative diethyl ether.
