1,5-Dichloro-1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyltrisiloxane is a boronic acid with the chemical formula of CHClSiO. It is used as a grafted material in the production of Covid-19. It has been shown to be an effective additive for enhancing oil recovery and can be used at temperatures up to 200 °C. 1,5-Dichloro-1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyltrisiloxane also has a number of chlorine substitutions that give it both acidic and basic properties.
