Description:
2,4-Dimethoxy-1-(prop-2-en-1-yl)benzene is an analgesic and antiinflammatory drug that has been analyzed by the Japanese National Institute of Health Sciences. It is derived from cerefolium, a plant in the Umbelliferae family, and has been found to have similar effects to cannabis (undecane). 2,4-Dimethoxy-1-(prop-2-en-1-yl)benzene has been shown to be an opioid agonist and works by binding to opioid receptors in the brain. This drug also produces pain relief in animal models.
