Description

2-(tert-Butylamino)ethyl Methacrylate is a methacrylate that has reactive properties. It reacts with chloride in the presence of a polymerization initiator to produce poly(2-(tert-butylamino)ethyl methacrylate). This polymer is used as an anti-infective agent, and can be used in the treatment of colorectal adenocarcinoma. 2-(tert-Butylamino)ethyl Methacrylate is also used as a magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent and as an optical property modifier.
