Description

±-Cyclohexylphenylacetic Acid is an anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat pain. It is a quaternary ammonium salt and has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the integrin receptor. ±-Cyclohexylphenylacetic Acid also has antipyretic properties and can be used as an analgesic agent. This drug may be useful in the treatment of inflammatory pain, but it may not be a good choice for patients with high blood pressure or depression. The magnesium salt of this compound has been shown to have antireflection effects, which would make it suitable for use in coating eyeglasses or lenses.
