TM38837 is a pyrimidine compound that is being developed as a treatment for metabolic disorders. It has been shown to be potent inducers of toll-like receptor 4, cox-2 inhibitory activity, and autophagy. TM38837 has also been shown to inhibit the activation of the cb2 receptor and body mass index in vitro assays. This drug has photochemical properties that are useful for its pharmacokinetic properties. TM38837 is metabolized by trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) and excreted by the kidneys into the urine with a half-life of about 3 hours.
