Product Information
2-(4,5-Dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)aniline is a boronic acid that is used in cross-coupling reactions to form carbon-carbon bonds. It is also used as a ligand in palladium complexes and can be used to form unsymmetrical boronates. 2-(4,5-Dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)aniline has been shown to react with chlorides, yielding the corresponding chloride anion in high yields. This compound also reacts with aryl halides in the presence of catalytic amounts of palladium complexes. 2-(4,5-Dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)aniline is used to create 2 amino benzonitrile from 2 aminobenzonitrile and hydrogen chloride gas.
