Viaminate is a small-molecule drug that targets the symptoms of squamous cell carcinoma. It has been shown to be effective against solid tumours, including squamous cell carcinomas, and is an antagonist of TNF-α. Viaminate inhibits the growth of tumor cells by binding to their receptors for epidermal growth factor (EGF) and transforming growth factor alpha (TGF-α). It also suppresses the production of TNF-α. This compound has been shown to inhibit tumor cells in vitro and in vivo, with no significant side effects.
