3,7-Di-O-acetylpinobanksin is a natural product with an analytical reference standard and the main bioactive component from the plant Pterocarpus marsupium. It is isolated and purified by HPLC to produce a material of high purity for research and development purposes. 3,7-Di-O-acetylpinobanksin has been shown to have cytotoxic activity against various cancer cell lines in vitro. This compound is also known to be a potent inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC) and a potent activator of PKC.
