Product Information
Rehmaglutin D is a flavonoid from the rhizomes of the plant Glutinosa. Its bioactivities include antibacterial and antifungal effects. Rehmaglutin D has an antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, as well as Gram-negative bacteria such as Salmonella enterica and Escherichia coli. It also has an antifungal activity against Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger. Rehmaglutin D is a potent inhibitor of bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to the beta-D-glucoside moiety in peptidoglycan.
