Description:
2,2'-Bis(di-p-tolylphosphanyl)-1,1'-binaphthalene is a phosphonium salt that has been used in asymmetric synthesis. It is an enolate and is used for the allylation of amines and aldehydes. The catalytic asymmetric process can be achieved using palladium complexes and amines as ligands. This compound is also used to make diphosphine ligands for use in asymmetric synthesis.
