Product Information
- [4-(2-Methylpropoxy)Phenyl]Boronic Acid
- p-Isobutoxyphenylboronic acid
4-Isobutoxyphenylboronic acid is a covalent binding molecule that can be used to create nanoparticles, hydroxyl groups, or coassembly. 4-Isobutoxyphenylboronic acid has been shown to competitively bind with alizarin and hydroxyl molecules, which may be due to the presence of electron-withdrawing groups on the phenylboronic acid moiety. The fluorescence of 4-Isobutoxyphenylboronic acid depends on pH and concentration. At a pH of 7, the fluorescence is blue whereas at a pH of 5 it becomes green.
