2-Diethoxyphosphorylethanamine oxalic acid is a prodrug that can be hydrolyzed to its active form, 2-diethoxyphosphorylethanolamine, which inhibits tumor growth by inhibiting the enzyme dehydrogenase. This drug has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in some animal models of cancer. It also inhibits the production of inflammatory mediators and may be used as an anti-inflammatory drug. 2-Diethoxyphosphorylethanamine oxalic acid has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in some animal models of cancer.
