Product Information
Atractylochromene is an analog of aprepitant, a drug used to prevent chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. It has been found to exhibit potent anticancer activity against various human tumors, including those of the breast and colon. Atractylochromene inhibits kinases involved in cell growth and survival, leading to apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells. This compound has also been shown to have antitumor activity in Chinese hamster ovary cells and to inhibit the growth of xylan-producing bacteria. Additionally, Atractylochromene has been detected in human urine and may have potential as a novel cancer therapy.
