Product Information
SecinH3 is a novel small molecule inhibitor that targets the 3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1 (PDK1) and thereby prevents the phosphorylation of downstream effector proteins. PDK1 is an enzyme that plays an important role in cell lysis, cellular physiology, and energy metabolism. SecinH3 has been shown to induce cell lysis in human skin cells and colorectal cancer cells in vitro. It also inhibits metastatic colorectal cancer by inhibiting receptor activity and preventing the activation of effector proteins like mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs).
