Product Information
6-(4-(Diethylamino)-3-nitrophenyl)-5-methyl-4,5-dihydropyridazin-3(2H)-one is a potent and selective blocker of the human α1A adrenergic receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the binding of the endogenous agonist norepinephrine in rat brain synaptosomes. This compound also blocks the activation of a variety of other receptors, including those for serotonin, dopamine, histamine and acetylcholine. 6-(4-(Diethylamino)-3-nitrophenyl)-5-methyl-4,5-dihydropyridazin-3(2H)-one has been used as a research tool to study ligand binding to protein receptors in cell biology and pharmacology.
