Product Information
Histone Acetyltransferase p300 Inhibitor, C646 (C646) is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of Histone Acetyltransferase p300. Histone Acetyltransferase p300 is a protein that acetylates histones, which modifies the chromatin structure and affects gene expression. C646 can bind to Histone Acetyltransferase p300 and inhibit its activity, leading to a decrease in gene expression. C646 has been shown to be effective against cancer cells in multiple cell lines and has been shown to induce apoptosis in human leukemia cells. It also induces cellular senescence and growth arrest in some cell lines.
