Product Information

Name:
Amino-dPEG®6-acid
Description:

Amino-dPEG®6-acid is a synthetic amino acid that is used as an inhibitor in protein interactions and as a research tool to study the membrane receptor. It can also be used in the synthesis of peptides, proteins, and antibodies. Amino-dPEG®6-acid has been shown to inhibit the enzymatic activity of protein kinase C isoforms (PKC) with IC50 values in the range of 0.1 to 1 μM. It can also be used as a ligand for receptor binding studies and has been shown to activate the G protein-coupled receptors, adenosine A2A receptor, and dopamine D2 receptor with EC50 values in the range of 10 nM to 100 nM. The amino group found on this molecule is reactive and can be used for conjugation with other molecules such as polyethylene glycols. Amino-dPEG®6-
