Description:

dPEG®24-Biotin Acid is a peptidomimetic that has been shown to bind to the protein targets of syndrome coronavirus and inhibit their activity. It is used as a reagent in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays for the detection of virus-specific antibodies. dPEG®24-Biotin Acid is also used as a binder in peptide synthesis, which can be used to block the active site of enzymes during chemical reactions. This product may also be used as a building block in the synthesis of peptides with an affinity for specific proteins, such as angiotensin II, or antibody molecules.
