Description:

M-dPEG-Acids are bioconjugatable Building Blocks that can be used in various applications, including peptide synthesis, fluorescence spectroscopy, and quantum yield measurements. M-dPEG-Acids are available as a free acid or as the corresponding sodium salts. The sodium salt is prepared by reacting m-dPEG with sodium azide in toluene at elevated temperatures. M-dPEG-Acids are typically purified by recrystallization from methanol and toluene. This product has been shown to have a fluorescence quantum yield of 0.25 when excited at 340 nm and 365 nm.
