1-(3-Chloro-phenoxymethyl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester is a metabolite of pyrazole, which has been shown to have anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo. It is also an inhibitor of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and a compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancerous cells, including those isolated from breast tumors. 1-(3-Chloro-phenoxymethyl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester inhibits tumor growth by inhibiting protein synthesis. This drug also has antiinflammatory properties and can be used to treat diseases such as diabetic neuropathy and inflammatory diseases.
