Product Information
1,2,4,5-Tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)benzene (TCPB) is a dyes with an electron accepting group. It can be used as a ligand in the synthesis of organic semiconductors or to modify the structure of polymeric materials. The linear range of this dye is from 400 to 700 nm and its photophysical properties are dependent on the type of solvent. TCPB has been shown to be an activating ligand for terephthalic acid and also exhibits pesticide activity. TCPB may also be used to modify the supramolecular interactions between metal ions and organic molecules in order to create novel materials for use in optoelectronics.
