Description:

Allyl[1,3-bis(mesityl)imidazol-2-ylidene]chloropalladium(II) is a palladium catalyst that can be used for cross-coupling reactions. This compound was prepared by reacting allyl bromide with chloro(mesitylimidazole)palladium dichloride in diethyl ether at room temperature. The reaction mixture was filtered and the precipitate was washed with diethyl ether to yield the desired product.
