Dynole 34-2 is a drug that is used to treat cancer. It was developed by DynoRx, Inc. and has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in cell culture and animal studies. Dynole 34-2 is also used to treat metabolic disorders such as diabetes and obesity. The drug binds to actin filaments in the cytoskeleton which inhibits their assembly, preventing cell motility and proliferation. Furthermore, Dynole 34-2 has shown to be an effective inhibitor of tumor angiogenesis (blood vessel formation) by inhibiting the production of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).
