Description:
1H-Indazole-4-carboxamide is a small molecule that inhibits the polymerase of human DNA. It has been shown to have nanomolar range of activity against divergens in both humans and immunocompromised patients. 1H-Indazole-4-carboxamide has also been shown to inhibit the adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-ribose polymerase, which is involved in the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and proteins. The drug has potential for use as a cancer chemotherapeutic agent or for treatment of cardiovascular diseases and nervous system disorders such as babesiosis.
