Product Information
Gefitinib-d6 is a marker for the detection of bilirubin. It is a chromogenic substrate that reacts with bilirubin in the presence of peroxidase and hydrogen peroxide to produce an intensely colored product. Gefitinib-d6 is used as a marker for the detection of serum bilirubin, which may be due to genetic polymorphisms or liver disease. This compound has been shown to be associated with cancer patients who are treated with the drug regorafenib, or those who have undergone surgery for colorectal cancer, as well as Japanese individuals with oatp1b1 mutations.
