Description:
3-Acetylumbelliferyl b-D-glucopyranoside is a fluorescent compound that is used as a substituent in organic chemistry. It is an anomeric compound that has been used to elucidate the structure of umbelliferone, which is a precursor to many pharmaceuticals. 3-Acetylumbelliferyl b-D-glucopyranoside can be synthesized by reacting 3-acetylcoumarin with glucose.
