N,N'-Dicyclohexyl-1,2-ethanediamine hydrate is a carbonyl compound that belongs to the class of substituted ethanediamines. It is used as an intermediate for the production of polyurethane elastomers and as a chemical precursor. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. It can be recycled by distilling off the solvent and then reacting it with water to form N,N'-dicyclohexyl-1,2-ethanediamine dihydrochloride.
