Azelaic Dihydrazide is a diacid with hydroxyl group. It is a strong inhibitor molecule that can be used to prevent corrosion of metal surfaces. Azelaic Dihydrazide reacts with hydrochloric acid in the presence of particles to form an insoluble precipitate. This product has high resistance to water vapor and malonic acid, and it can also be used as a sealant or water-proofing agent. Azelaic Dihydrazide reacts electrochemically with fatty acids at the surface of metals, which can be used for detection of metal ions.
