Product Information
4-Aminophenol is a monomer that is used in the production of polymers. It can be polymerized to form poly(4-aminophenol), which has a high inherent viscosity and an excellent resistance to solvents. 4-Aminophenol can also be used as a crosslinker for acrylic resins, and it has been shown to react with benzoquinone to produce poly(4-aminophenyl benzoate). 4-Amino-2-(tert butyl)phenol has been shown to have spectra that include bands at around 790 cm−1, 1190 cm−1, 1450 cm−1, 1630 cm−1, and 1780 cm−1. These bands correspond to the presence of a benzene ring in the molecule. The IR spectrum also shows three weak bands at about 3400 cm−1, 3000 cm−1, and 2900 cm−1. These bands
