1,4-Dibromobenzene-D4 is used as a calibration standard for the determination of trace levels of organic compounds. It has a sensitivity of 0.1 μg/mL and a broad range of applicability. The 1,4-dibromobenzene-D4 molecule has a stable deuterium substitution on the phenyl ring.
