Product Information
Medoxomil is a drug that inhibits the synthesis of proteins. It functions by binding to the active site of β-lactamase, an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of β-lactam antibiotics. Medoxomil is used to treat autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. Medoxomil has been shown to have anti-cancer properties in vitro and in vivo. Medoxomil also has anti-inflammatory effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. This drug can be used for the treatment of malaria and other parasitic infections.
