Description:

Cyclohexanone p-Toluenesulfonylhydrazone is an organic solvent that can be used to reduce a variety of functional groups. It can also react with pyrazoles to form the corresponding cyclopentyl derivatives. Cyclohexanone p-Toluenesulfonylhydrazone has been shown to reduce oximes and hydrazones, such as phenylhydrazones, to the corresponding alcohols. This compound can also reduce acid chlorides and esters to the corresponding alcohols or carboxylic acids, respectively. Cyclohexanone p-Toluenesulfonylhydrazone is a kinetic reducing agent that is not affected by constant temperature changes.
