Product Information
- Cyclobutanol, 3-amino-
3-Aminocyclobutanol is an inhibitor of protein kinase that is structurally similar to 4-nitroimidazole, which is a potent inhibitor of tyrosine and serine/threonine protein kinases. 3-Aminocyclobutanol can be synthesized from cyclobutanone and ammonia in a stereoselective manner. This compound inhibits the activity of tyrosine and serine/threonine protein kinases, but not other type of protein kinases such as those that phosphorylate histidine residues. 3-Aminocyclobutanol has been shown to inhibit the enzyme ATP-dependent DNA helicase (ATPase) in vitro.
