Product Information
Piperidine-1-carboxamidine is a drug that has been approved in Japan to treat metabolic disorders. The drug is metabolized by the liver and may interact with other drugs. Piperidine-1-carboxamidine binds to glutamate receptors, which are found in the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system, and interacts with these receptors to regulate the release of neurotransmitters. It also inhibits the activity of some types of ion channels on neuronal membranes. Piperidine-1-carboxamidine has been shown to be effective in long-term efficacy studies against solid tumours and high resistance. This drug also has an effect on the immune system by increasing cytokine production and inhibiting antibody production.
