Description

Octadecyl acrylate is an organic compound that is a monomer. Octadecyl acrylate has a hydrophobic effect and can be used to form polymers with hydrophilic groups. It has been shown to have good transport properties in the presence of constant pressure and can also react with cationic surfactant to form polymer particles. Octadecyl acrylate can form copolymers with acrylates or other monomers, which can be used in the production of polymers. The nmr spectra of octadecyl acrylate shows that it contains one double bond per molecule.
