1,3-Diphenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-5-one (DPP) is a base that has antibacterial properties. It is used as the starting material for the synthesis of pharmaceutical preparations containing isothiocyanates. These are compounds that are used in the treatment of cancer and other diseases.
