Product Information
2-(1,3-Dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindol-2-yl)acetamide (PDIA) is a pseudopeptide that has been shown in vitro to selectively bind to the bradykinin B2 receptor. PDIA is orally bioavailable and acts on the b2 receptor to reduce inflammation in the airways of perennial rhinitis patients. The pharmacophore of PDIA is based on modifications of the skeleton of bradykinin B2 and is a potential drug for treating hypertrophy and infarction due to its ability to inhibit angiotensin converting enzyme. PDIA has been shown to have no effects on ovary tissue or thiosemicarbazide.
